Nostalgia Rumah Kuno di Desa

Rumah kuno walaupun desain dan dekorasinya sudah tidak lagi populer lagi di jaman sekarang, karena kebanyakan orang jaman sekarng lebih suka dengan dekorasi dan desain rumah minimalis dan modern seperti yang banayk dipaparkan dalam blog dekorasirumah.org, namun bagi saya rumah kuno memiliki nilai khusus tersendiri karena di dalamnya mengingatkan nostalgia akan memori rumah kuno kakek saya di desa.

Rumah kake saya termasuk dalam kategori rumah kuno karena di bangun pada masa kakek buyut yaitu masa-masa penjajahan belanda. di saat masa penjajahan dan perlawanan terhadap penjajah kakek saya membangun sebuah rumah pertamanya di kampung sebagai awal berdirinya dusun di mana beliau tinggal. dan sejak saat itulah dimulainya kehidupan desa / dusun baru di lokasi tersebut. Setelah sebelumnya membabat hutan baru untuk dijadikan area terbuka sebagai dusun. walaupun awalnya hanya dihuni oleh beberapa keluarga namun ternyata sekarang menjadi desa yang lumayan berkembang dan cukup ramai. sekarang aja jalan rayanya sudah halus dan rata oleh jalan cor.

Rumah model kuno yang cukup mengesankan dan memikat mata lainnya adalah rumah kakek saya dari jalur ayah yang dibangun setelah masa-masa kemerdekaan. bangunannya dari tembok dan satu-satunya bangunan tembok yang dibangun oleh warga pribumi pada waktu itu di desa. pembangunannya tentu tidak langsung jadi tetapi butuh waktu lama dan setahap demi setahap karena biaya yang mahal dan uang juga tidak mudah di dapat. Lantainya dari ubin , tidak seperti rumah umumnya pada saat itu banyak berlantai tanah. dinding dari tembok, dan berlantai 2. Lokasi yang berada di tepi jalan raya menjadikan rumah kuno ini  memiliki nilai ekonimi lebih dibanding rumah-rumah kuno lainnya. Batanya juga dipilih dari jenis bata berkualitas yang keras dan tebal daripada bata lainnya. Hanya saja lapisan temboknya lebih lentur karena lebih banyak bahan kapurnya daripada semen dan pasirnya sehingga sekarang ini sering sekali tembok yang keropos bagian lapisan luarnya.
